Valerie thinks of herself as a life-long student. She has herself admitted that she would probably be back in school to get her research fix if she wasn’t in the investing field.
She has a passion for educating clients and helping them prepare for and take control of their financial futures. She also has a particular focus on educating young women on understanding and seizing their own financial futures.
Before joining DGP, Valerie worked at Capital Group, SG Cowen Securities and Neveric Capital. Beginning as a tech investment banker before becoming an Equity Research Associate, she was a key contributor at Capital to research across technology, chemicals and agriculture.
Valerie is a CFA charterholder and has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
